Congratulations on your new Dimmable Sunpower! Let’s get started getting your fixture up and running.
Before Programming
- Plug Your Light into Permanent Outlet or Give It Time to Charge: Plug your light fixture into the same outlet that will be used long term. The reason being is that if you unplug it without giving it time to charge, you will lose your program when moving the fixture to its long term home. Alternatively, keep the fixture plugged into an outlet for at least 24 hours to allow it time to charge it’s internal battery.
- Burn-In Your T5 Bulbs: Another important aspect to programming your Dimmable Sunpower is properly burning in or seasoning your bulbs prior to any dimming. Failure to do so may result in premature failure of your bulbs. Read more about how to properly burn-in / season your bulbs here.

Programming Channel 1:
Points to Consider Prior to Programming:
- Each channel needs a minimum of 4 set points, however you do not have to use all 10 set points
- Your first set point must be set to ON
- Your last set point must be set to OFF
- Your last set point must be before midnight (i.e. no later than 23:59)
- Set points behave like they are on a line graph and automatically adjust from one set point to the next
- If you want a linear slope of increasing or decreasing intensity, you only need to set the beginning and end intensities.
- If you wish to maintain the same intensity throughout a given period of time, you will need to book-end. For example:
- 0800 – ON
- 0900 – 100%
- 1900 – 100%
- 2000 – OFF
